At the age of 14, Talia Perez auditioned for season 2 of “The Xfactor” in Greensboro, North Carolina and made it to the top 70 out of 200,000 contestants. She received positive comments from judges Simon Cowel, LA Reid, Demi Lovato and Brittany Spears. After receiving 4 yes’s from the judges, she went on to compete in the boot camp round in Miami.
At 17 years old Talia was accepted to the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. At 18 yrs old Talia released her self-written debut single, titled, “Champion”. After the success of her first single she released and 2nd single “Success.” Her music is a mix of eclectic Pop & EDM, with undertones of R&B/Hip Hop. Talia’s newest single titled “West Coast” was just released June 25th this summer. Talia has been featured in various commercials such as “Conde Nast,” “Cover Girl”, “Hulu.” etc…, and sang the National Anthem for the 2017 UCLA vs USC fight night.
